Expected School Wide Learning Results (ESLRS)  -  Enrichment Classes

Enrichment Classes

A wide variety of after-school enrichment classes are available on campus. These activities are in ten-week sessions for reasonable prices.
  • Jazz/Hip Hop Dance Class: Learn jazz dance and current hip hop moves to music you will enjoy; build self-confidence, coordination, and flexibility.

  • Tap Dance: Have lots of fun while learning tap technique as well as routines; great way to increase coordination and fitness. Let's shuffle!

  • Karate: Learn self-defense, discipline, and the fundamentals of Tang Soo Do; enjoy fun contests and games while building confidence and respect.

  • Gymnastics: Develop strength, flexibility, balance and kinesthetic awareness in this quality fitness program; have fun using exciting equipment with specially trained instructors.

  • Computer Arcade: Play educational and arcade games, practice keyboarding, or use the internet to research school assignments. Our multimedia computer lab has it all.

  • Cooking Class: Enjoy the fun and excitement of learning to cook and then the pleasure of eating what you have created!

  • Tennis Skills: Learn the game of tennis while having tons of fun; serving, volleying, or backhanding are just part of the skills acquired.

  • Basketball: Enhance movement skills and eye-hand coordination while learning the game of basketball; dribbling or shooting, offense or defense are all covered in this class.


  • Arts and Crafts: Create wonderful masterpieces using a wide array of art supplies; sharpen thinking skills while letting your imagination soar.

  • 400-Meter Swim: Develop free-style skills and endurance while getting in the swim of things; have fun while getting physically fit and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

  • Hebrew School: Learn how to read and write Hebrew, as well as, increase vocabulary; study Jewish traditions, holidays, and rituals.

  • Cheerleading: Learn fundamental cheer moves, as well as, routines and cheers; cheer squad leads the crowd at sports games on campus.

  • Woodcrest Chorus: Is open to all students in grades K-5. In addition to performing at school programs, the Woodcrest Chorus has sung at a variety of community events: Benefit for our Bravest Street Fairs, MTA VIP Grand Opening, Opening Day for the Valley Orange Line, Warner Towers' Holiday Party, Valentines for Vets Day at Veterans' Convalescence Home, and area senior citizens' facilities.
