Woodcrest Parents' Group
The Woodcrest Parents' Group is an active and integral part of the Woodcrest community. Parents of Woodcrest students, as well as grandparents, are automatically members of the Group and may participate in many volunteer opportunities. 
The Parents' Group is a focal point in promoting a sense of school community and support. At its monthly meetings, numerous activities and events are planned. The Woodcrest Parents' Group organizes the Welcome Back Barbeque, Snowman Shop, Restaurant Nights, Skateland Party, Science Fair Silent Auction, and Teacher Appreciation Day. Parents may also volunteer to help at the Halloween Carnival, Thanksgiving Feasts, Book Fair, School Shows, or as a room parent. Parent involvement benefits everyone. 
Parent education topics are also addressed at various Parents' Group meetings. Featured speakers have been:
