Woodcrest Elementary School houses one of the San Fernando Valley’s largest in-door, Olympic size pools.  Swimming is a vital part of Woodcrest’s physical education program.

          Woodcrest’s physical education  introduces students to the fundamentals of recreational activity and provides students with many opportunities to develop physical skills appropriate to their ages.  The physical education program includes exercises, stretching activities, swimming, team sports and much more

           All Woodcrest students learn the fundamentals of swimming including proper breathing technique, leg and arm movement.  The swim education program also provides students with endurance, toning and strength.
