Woodcrest Community Service

At Woodcrest School we place emphasis on working together to help our local community. Parents, students, faculty, alumni, and friends get together throughout the year to participate in many important ways to raise awareness, raise money, and most importantly to show how the power of many can truly make a difference in the world. Some community service projects that Woodcrest students and our student council have participated in are:

  • American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund (Hurricane Sandy, Hurricane Irene, Japanese Tsunami, Oklahoma Tornado)
  • Fred Jordan Mission Holiday Food & Toy Drive
  • Marines' Toys for Tots Drive
  • Benefit for our Bravest: Valley Firefighters
  • Benefit for our Bravest: Armed Forces Day
  • Holiday Ornaments for Haven House
  • Salvation Army Coat Drive
  • Valentines for Veterans
  • We Care packages for overseas military
  • Holiday letters for military
  • Pennies for Patients (Leukemia Drive)
