Lower School K-5

Welcome to Woodcrest

Lower School
K-5th Grade

Our Lower School (Elementary School) serves students in kindergarten through fifth grades. For over 50 years, Woodcrest School has delivered a traditional curriculum that prepares students for high school and beyond. Our curriculum includes: reading aloud daily, cursive writing, project based learning, technology integration, timed math facts, and social and emotional buddy ups.
Teachers work in small groups to nurture successful and motivated students with the skills needed to reach their highest potential. Every teacher instructs under the guidance of the school’s mission to provide a place where learning is fun and children love learning. Students receive a superior academic foundation, with enrichment in leadership and communication skills, strength of character and social responsibility.

In addition to classroom work, the Lower School expects kindness and consideration from all students enrolled at Woodcrest School. Through our social and emotional learning curriculum, students and teachers explore personal responsibility, empathy and positive character development on a daily basis.

Woodcrest School’s after-school enrichment programs are designed to give Lower School students opportunities for high-quality enrichment in art, athletics, cooking, gaming, coding, and much more.

For those interested in enrolling in our Lower School in the future, please call or e-mail Ms. Adams or more explore our website for more information.
